Well, folks, this is an epic comic of epic length by American Captain standards. I don’t know what I was doing, I guess I just really didn’t want to work on my thesis.

I haven’t drawn female characters in awhile and suddenly, the urge struck me to draw Dr. Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis. They didn’t get a whole lot screen time together but I like the idea of these two very different women becoming close friends after they run (over) into the Norse God of Thunder. I also really like how they’re pretty much the Odd Couple: Jane is serious, efficient and obsessed with her research to the point that she probably doesn’t know how to relax anymore, while Darcy goes with the flow and isn’t afraid to taze deities.
Probably will color this some day~
